My first winter with Canon EOS 40D and year 2007. Good times! Unfortunately, nowadays the poor thing lies under my bed and gathers dust on itself.I guess I’m not lazy, I’m just motivationally challenged. Or inspirationally. Or both.
This picture was taken in the deep forests of mighty country of Germany.

My obsession with buildings will lead me into oblivion and I will walk into a lamp post.
On the upside, there are always new things I notice about buildings. And the older they are, the more I like them.
I’m still making a list of all the buildings, homes and houses I will own the one day. And the movie nights I will host there. One day

My obsession with stuff will finally suck me into black hole of old cameras, postcards, pins and cheap earrings.
One thing I know for sure – even if this won’t last forever, I still can be thankful to stuff for some little moments of joy in my life. Like the feeling, when you’re wearing a really nice shoes. Or your most comfortable jeans in the Saturday morning. It’s not what makes me happy, but damn useful as a tool. Heh.

Latvian version of a record store. (Actually it’s more of a Ventspils version of a record store).
Anyways, this picture is supposed to represent spring. Or what’s before spring. The streets still are full of snow, but you want the spring so badly, you will find green all around you.

Haven’t explored shop windows in Riga yet, but I’m eager to. Jut need to find a windowshopping-buddy.

Some unexplainable suburban charm has posessed this picture. (Technically, it’s not suburbia, it’s a small village called Kamakura 50 km away from Tokyo). We went there on a cloudy day, so cloudy, I had taken my umbrella. In the end the day got so hot I was using it as a sunshade.

The escalator in Hakaniemi metro station. It has the good qualities of an esclalator: it’s long and not depressive. Actually I have developed some feelings towards escalators. Because it feels somewhat good to be going up (if I am going up). Maybe someting good expects me there. Maybe something nice will happen. Maybe it’s not polite to stare in faces of those who are going down. But maybe I’m just going to have a great day, and I’m the only one to realize it.

Man jau likās, ka cerēt nav jēgas, migla vienkārši par mani ierēc kaut kur aiz koka, bet tomēr beigās noķēru to nelieti. Migla bēga atpakaļ jūrā, bet arī tālu netika. Un man pie tam bija līdzi kādas 2 fotokameras, lai kārtīgu savažotu miglas brīžus.
